When I first heard of Christian Science I was a very selfish, discontented person. My spiritual growth was seemingly very slow for about three years, as I studied and worked very little; nevertheless, every ailment which I had was overcome through my slight understanding of Christian Science. Since I have studied and prayed earnestly for more love and understanding, I have had many demonstrations, for which I am very grateful. I have daily proofs of God's allness and the nothingness of evil, in meeting all discordant conditions, both physical and mental.

Words cannot express my loving gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which has been such an inspiration to me in studying the Bible and explains so clearly man's relation to God.

I have received great benefits from reading the Sentinel and Journal and hope to show my gratitude by my works.
