After suffering for twelve years with chronic nervous indigestion and its accompanying ills, I finally turned to Christian Science for physical aid. Stomach troubles in some form had afflicted nearly every member of my family for three generations. Frequent attacks of heart failure, continued dizziness, constipation, general weakness, and a distressing sense from the base of the brain to the end of the spinal column, were some of the symptoms manifested. Towards the last of my illness I was obliged to single out an object with my eye walk to it, in order to keep my bearings, and was not always sure where my feet would touch the pavement. Depression, fear, and irritability seemed to rule me mentally.

When I decided to try Christian Science it was from no faith in or understanding of it. I simply desired to see if the health and strength which the most intelligent doctors had failed to give me, might not be found elsewhere. The gain under Christian Science was slow but steady. At the end of six months I was much stronger and relieved of my most distressing conditions, but the perfect healing was accomplished only as I comprehended the Christ-principle involved in this method of healing and applied it in my daily living. For four years I have been well, and am realizing the health and strength of youth. Among the many joys with which my life is filled, the greatest one is that it is possible for me to help others to know this truth which brings freedom from sickness and sin.
