For nearly forty years Christian Science has been taught and demonstrated, at first by Mary Baker Eddy alone, and then with a rapidly growing number of her followers, until to-day it is well known that many thousands have accepted this teaching as the logical and demonstrable explanation of Christ's message. A large percentage of those who have embraced Christian Science have been carefully reared by Christian parents, and have enjoyed the training of the Church and Sunday School.

Among these thousands of adherents are numbered representatives from nearly every known creed and faith, as well as many who were formerly agnostics. All have found in Christian Science a satisfactory explanation of the Word of Life. Many have come into this faith through the avenue of physical healing. Others, or, it might be said, all, because they have found therein a higher and more practical interpretation of God's Word. To them the Bible has been re-opened, and the daily study of its precepts and promises has become a never-ending joy.

It has remained, however, for your correspondent in last Sunday's paper to discover that, after all, Christian Science is not in line with Scripture. After considerable research through the pages of the Bible and the Christian Science text-book he presents your readers with copious extracts in which he attempts to show that Christian Science is hopelessly at variance with the Holy Bible.
