Three years ago I spent two or three months in Los Angeles. The day after I arrived there. I was taken with a severe attack of bowel trouble. At the end of a week, I put myself into the hands of a practitioner. At the end of another week I seemed much better, and I thought I would take up the work again myself. In a few days I was in as bad condition as before. I am very found of oranges, but I was afraid to eat them. I did not seem to realize at the time that it was fear which kept me from responding to the treatment. About this time my son gave me a very large orange, but I laid it away. One morning I took up Science and Health as usual and read the words on page 154, lines 20-24, and I was instantaneously healed.
