No one has greater reason to be thankful for this great truth than I have. When I first sought Christian Science help I had for eight years suffered with a complication of troubles. A consultation of physicians was held, and they diagnosed my case as heart trouble, cancer of the stomach, and ulceration of the bowels, besides female trouble. Later, another doctor examined me and declared I had catarrh in the head, throat, lungs, and stomach. I had eight different physicians, but they did not agree as to what my trouble was. I tried almost everything I could hear of, but no material remedy every reached my case.

I was given up to die, and was lying under the influence of morphine, not able to raise my head off the pillow, when Christian Science found me fifteen years ago. In a half hour after I took the first treatment I rose from the bed, dressed myself, went to the kitchen and got supper for the family. Language can never express the joy and happiness I experienced at that moment. I had found the Christ-truth and it had made me free. I am to-day well and enjoying good health. Not only have I been wondrously healed, and my health preserved, but Christian Science, as given to the world by its Discoverer and Founder, Mrs. Eddy, has awakened in me a greater desire for things spiritual, has given me a better understanding of the Bible, has increased my confidence and trust in God, also my desire to walk in the footsteps of our Master, Christ Jesus. For all this I am thankful to our heavenly Father.
