I have felt for some time that I was not doing my duty...

I have felt for some time that I was not doing my duty in withholding my testimony of healing, as it may be of benefit to some one as hopeless and discouraged as I was when I turned to Christian Science for help. I had suffered for three or four years from tumor, until the physicians said that an operation was necessary; but this I felt I could not consent to. In my hour of deep distress I called upon a friend, a Christian Scientist, who comforted me with the assurance that I need not have an operation, that God would heal me. In less than two months my trouble was overcome. The examining physician expressed both surprise and pleasure at my recovery. That was three years ago. If any one wishes to know the particulars of my case, I would be very glad to give them. Each day my gratitude to God for my healing grows deeper, and to the one who has brought to us this wonderful truth,—Mrs. Eddy.—Mrs. W. F. Bissell, Glens Falls, N. Y.
