It is over five years since I heard of Christian Science
It is over five years since I heard of Christian Science. I have been healed of a stomach trouble of nine years, for which I had tried everything that I thought would help me. I also had heart trouble. I could find no relief until Christian Science came to me, and now I know that ever-present Love is guiding me. I was a physical wreck; now I am strong and rugged, thank God! The physical healing is not all we get in Christian Science; the spiritual uplifting is much more to me. I was a great smoker and also drank beer, but I am no more a slave to those things. They all left me; I did not leave them. I have been made a new man: life is worth living now; everything is joy and peace and harmony. The Sentinel and Journal are a great help to me. This truth has lifted the gloom from my sense. I cannot find words to express my gratitude and love for what Christian Science has done for me. I never used to think of going to church before I was healed, but now I love to go. Truth is such a revelation, and I thank God that the Bible is no longer a sealed book. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" has unlocked it for me. I am thankful that I have found the pearl of great price, and I am grateful that God has given to the world our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
