It does not seem possible to tell of all the benefits I have...
It does not seem possible to tell of all the benefits I have derived from Christian Science and the rest and peace it has given me. I wish to express my deep gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for our text-book, Science and Health. It is now over two years since my little boy, then two years old, and myself were healed through the knowledge of Truth as taught in Science and Health. I was completely healed from an ailment of several years' standing. My child was suffering from what the doctors supposed to be spinal and kidney trouble and he had become so weak that he could not walk at all. I was then asked why I did not try Christian Science, but I only sneered at the remark. Finally I became so desperate, seeing no improvement from materia medica, that I came to the conclusion I would give Christian Science a trial and I took the child to a practitioner. The first week we all noticed a vast improvement, and the following week the trouble was all gone. He was also healed of a very stubborn case of bowel trouble, and another ailment which seemed the most stubborn of all. One day I remembered the text, "Work out your own salvation," and I saw that I had my own work to do, as I had been holding a sense of doubt, fear, and impatience; and as I met the foe right there, the trouble was overcome. I cannot express enough gratitude for all the blessings I have received.—Mrs. Philip Keller. Chicago, Ill.
