Having read the Sentinel and Journal for the past four...
Having read the Sentinel and Journal for the past four years, and having received so much help from the encouraging testimonies that come from nearly all parts of the world, we wish to add ours. Christian Science has given us strength and help in ways that are too numerous to mention, but we wish to speak of the wonderful healing of our little boy after all hope had vanished, as doctors had pronounced him incurable. From his birth the child was said to have a trouble of the brain, and he remained in this condition until he was about five years of age. What we suffered no one knows, but at last Christian Science came to our notice, we asked for treatment, and through the truth, as taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, he was completely healed and is to-day a sound, healthy boy. All hope of his healing had vanished when the beautiful promises of Christian Science came to us. Our extremity was indeed God's opportunity, and no wonder our hearts are filled with gratitude that we have been lifted out of darkness. We are grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us that God is an ever-present help in all ways to those who seek Him.
After all has been said, spiritual awakening is the greatest and this truth is the grandest help in our daily lives, showing us the way to find heaven while yet on earth.
Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Brown, Caldwell, Idaho.
