I would like to tell of one of the many benefits received during the past four years from the study of Christian Science. As a child I had suffered almost every winter from sore throat, and as I grew older the trouble became a more serious one, until I was seldom entirely free from it during the fall, winter, and spring. I doctored for this and tried various remedies with but little relief, usually having to suffer from an attack of ulcerated sore throat until, as it was said, "the disease wore itself out." I seemed very susceptible to the least change in the weather, and thus was kept in continual bondage to the fear of cold.

From the beginning of the study of Science and Health and the Bible Lessons, this disposition to take cold was almost entirely overcome, and when once or twice sore throat has seemed to manifest itself, it has been entirely overcome inside of twenty-four hours. I am trying to live my gratitude for all that Christian Science has brought and is bringing to me.—E. L. W., Colorado Springs, Col.
