Among the Churches

A representative gathering of people filled every portion of First Church of Christ, Scientist, at three different services, yesterday [April 24]. They came to attend the dedication of the church, which, by the recent consolidation of First and Second Churches, has been cleared of all debt, making a dedication possible, according to Christian Science usage.

Warm greetings were extended to all, and each seemed to take a personal interest in his neighbor. The address by Judge William G. Ewing was the principal feature, and his ramarks were listened to with deep attention.

In speaking of the significance of the occasion, the First Reader said, "The union which has recently taken place between the members of First and Second Churches is designed to promote the growth of Christian Science through the practical manifestation of Love which heals physically and morally."—Milwaukee Sentinel.
