I desire to add to the many others my testimony of the power of God to heal through the understanding of Christian Science. I was told I had consumption, and my friends would look at me sympathetically and say to each other, "She cannot live six months;" and I did not care very much whether I did or not, as I had just lost my husband, who had the same disease that I was suffering with, and life did not seem worth living. But I was led to the home of Christian Scientists in Glen Rose, Texas, where I read Science and Health, and was healed in a very short time. When I returned to my home in Arizona my friends wondered at my looking so well. I have also been healed of indigestion constipation, erysipelas, neuralgia, and other ills which I cannot mention.

My little boy had a running sore on his neck which was treated by different physicians, and he took, or had applied, many kinds of medicines for two years. None of these things had the slightest effect, but he was completely healed by Christian Science.

It is nearly five years since I began the study of Christian Science and I am now strong and well.
