I wish to make public acknowledgment of the help I...

I wish to make public acknowledgment of the help I have received from our periodicals. During the past year I have seemed to be called upon to pass through unusual trials, and at times, when the test has been most severe, the tempter has tried to suggest discouragement, but each number of the Sentinel and Journal has brought to me such sweet messages of hope and love, giving fresh inspiration and renewed strength, that I have been able to press forward with renewed courage. I have been led to wonder many times what I should do if I were to be separated from these dear messengers of Truth. So many articles have seemed to be written especially for me, that I have been made to exclaim: Truly "Divine Love" does "meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494).

My heart overflows with thankfulness to all those whose contributions have brought loving rebuke and instruction, thus aiding us in the journey, which at times may seem a long and toilsome one, from matter to Spirit. I am also thankful to the faithful workers at headquarters, who are giving to the Field such pure and wholesome literature. When I remember that this has been made possible through the wisdom and toil of our loving Leader, and count the manifold blessings that have come, and are still coming to us through the ceaseless devotion of this inspired and inspiring woman, I can but voice the deepest desire of my heart, that I may be a faithful follower of Truth.
