Democracy in Church
The following interview with Mrs. Sue Harper Mims is reported in the Atlanta Constitution, by Isma Dooly.
"Do you not think that to deprive the church of those Readers who have established its doctrines in the community where it hold, and who have drawn to its following, will in many cases decrease the membership?" was asked Mrs. Mims yesterday.
"No," was the emphatic reply. "That is the very false idea that the church must put down. Personality has not made the church, but the healing power of divine Love has made it, and this healing power of Truth is the very cornerstone upon which the church is built.
