We have received numerous requests for the publication in advance of the dates upon which lectures will be delivered by the members of the Board of Lectureship, but it does not seem practicable to comply with such requests. We are informed by the lecturers that in many instances engagements are made by telegraph only a few days in advance; that in other instances dates are changed or cancelled too close to the date originally announced to permit of correction in the Sentinel.

The requests are mostly from traveling salesmen who desire to arrange their trips with a view to attending the lectures delivered in their territory, and we should be pleased to aid them if possible, but we believe that a list that could not be guaranteed as absolutely correct would at times cause them disappointment and, perhaps, expense. If our friends who are about to have lectures will fully advise all Reading Rooms; within, say one hundred miles, all that is desired in behalf of the traveling salesman will probably be accomplished.
