A little over a year ago I was persuaded to try Christian Science. I was a complete wreck from rheumatism and other causes, and as I hobbled from the car to the Scientist's home,—a distance of one block,—I little thought that in a short time I should be walking erect and free, and as for thinking that I should ever be as strong and healthy as I am to-day, I simply could not have believed it.
My healing included more than relief from rheumatism, since up to this time I had always been sickly, inclined to be consumptive, and my friends, I have since been told, had decided that I could not last over a month. I was subject to cold sweats, through which I had been reduced to a mere skeleton.
During the treatment, an enlargement of the neck, which I had had since childhood, disappeared, so that although my weight has increased over forty pounds, I am able to wear a collar which is an inch smaller than that formerly used.
