A Remarkable Case of Healing

One morning a short time since our little daughter, a child five years of age, was seated in the buggy and her sister who had hold of the reins was about to get in, when the horse started. Not being in a good position to guide the animal, he ran into a post, and becoming frightened started to run. He had not gone far when the buggy was overturned and the child thrown violently to the ground. When picked up she was to all appearances dead; blood was oozing from mouth and ears and the senses said, "She has gone." This occurred about nine o'clock in the morning, and it was afternoon before she again seemed to notice anything. The appearances were that she would never be able to speak again. It seemed as serious a case as possible; but it was fully overcome. She is now a bright, happy child with no knowledge whatever that such a thing ever seemed to happen. There was no suffering at all.

We feel that we are only beginning to know how to be grateful for the blessings we have in Christian Science.
