The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel...

The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel have come to us, the former a monthly, the latter a weekly. They are ably edited and finely printed. Both are published by the Christian Science Publishing Society, 95 Falmouth St., Boston, Mass., at $2.00 and $1.00 a year respectively. They are full of bright, interesting, attractive articles testimonials of Christian Science healing, extracts and articles from other papers, etc. Our friends will find much refreshing and delightful reading in these representative periodicals. —New Church Independent.

There is but one Law and that is the Law of God. There is but one Court and that is the Court of Heaven. It is a court of Absolute Justice, whose decision is final. Human concepts and opinions have been formulated into laws, and human courts administer these laws; but God is the final arbiter, the Supreme Judge.

The early Christians were enjoined to heal the sick and to preach the gospel. Possibly the reason why the former function is neglected at present is that, while it is possible to preach without faith ; it is impossible to make cures without it. — Boston Evening Transcript.
