Nothing can convince the sceptical Springfield Union that there is anything in Christian Science. It even speaks of it in the most flippant manner as "tommy-rot," and yet there are, even in this city, well authenticated cases of healing under this system, one of which, that of an insane man, is so well established as to make denial foolish. Why not admit that there is possible, nay, probable, good, in Science, for it is the truth, leaving the error, if any there be, to work its own destruction.
