Still providing rest—a fortress strong,
a sheltering nest
where no vulture thought or
swift-winged dart
can startle or displace
the tree of Life which holds it firmly
in its place
where nothing enters but that which
Love allows.

No robber band nor roaming hawk,
nor force of wind
can tether here.
All within are safe
under soft-spread song of
Mother Love,
nurturing, strengthening the right intent
of foreseen flight
which on established day
rises to scan the widening circle
of a designated plan,
and know the all-inclusive freedom
of God’s man.
