Healed during active duty in World War II
My introduction to Christian Science happened whilst I was serving in the Army during World War II. On reading a copy of the Sentinel loaned to me by a colleague, I immediately set about having my denomination changed on my military records to Christian Scientist. From reading that Sentinel, I could see that these people were practicing what they preached.
That day I was cured of a very long-standing stomach upset that had plagued me from my younger years.
