The Virus Myth
The rising public attention given to virus diseases prompts a question all mankind must eventually answer: Where lies causation?
Does the power to create lie solely with God, omnipotent Spirit, of whom the Bible declares, "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good," Gen. 1:31 and who is affirmed to be "of purer eyes than to behold evil"? Hab. 1:13 Or is causation shared with submicroscopic entities—believed by some researchers to be living and by others to be lifeless—called viruses?
An Editorial Research Reports survey says that more than five hundred varieties have been discovered, and that viruses cause at least sixty percent of mankind's illnesses, from the common cold to polio.
