The Most Effective Doctor

The centuries-old beliefs that God creates and sends disease and that material medicine is essential to cure it are today being proved false by the healings of Christian Science. These healings result from reliance on prayer and spiritual understanding alone.

Christ Jesus did not teach that sickness was the will of God, "who healeth all thy diseases," Ps. 103:3; as the Psalm declares. He never used or recommended material medicine. He healed multitudes through spiritual means alone, gave his disciples power to cure all types of disease, and affirmed for all time, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." John 14:12; In the earliest centuries of Christianity spiritual healing of disease was widespread among his followers. Today, the Science of Christian healing based on Jesus' teachings is being practiced on a large scale.

Christian Science Mind-healing is the most powerful doctor there is. It is more effective than drugs, has no harmful aftereffects, and also results in regeneration of thought and character.
