TRUE PERSPECTIVE

The whole world is my family!
No tight-knit possessive core
cold-shouldering the rest:
but circumference of universal thought
including these—and these—and these peoples
of far-flung empires.
They are mine
to cherish well, to hold in clear perception
as sons of God, His unsullied reflection.
And then,
lifting on high each hallowed family tie
into the rhythmic harmony
of Soul's reality, I leave them there.
Safe in omniscience.
Divine coincidence
destroying human bind and fear and mortal agony.
And now I find
the center, the very heart of home
more dear.
Sweeter, lovelier than before.
And myself freed from care.
