I had a wonderful healing sometime...
I had a wonderful healing sometime ago. One evening when my brother and I were visiting at a neighbor's house, I injured my arm. My first thought was, "I think my arm is broken!"
As we ran home, I tried to recall all the truths I had been taught in the Christian Science Sunday School. I tried very hard to understand that my real identity had not been hurt because it is spiritual, the idea of God. Suffering could not become part of one of God's ideas.
My mother is not a Christian Scientist, and she became very excited about my injury; but she did not call a doctor because I asked her to call my father, who was out on a business call. He came home in just a few minutes and called a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer. I went to sleep on the couch, and in two weeks I was back at school.
