With gratitude to God for His many blessings, I offer this testimony as further proof of the supporting power and guiding influence of the Christ, Truth, as understood through the study and demonstration of Christian Science in our daily affairs. This Science, discovered by Mrs. Eddy, has been indispensable to me in setting forth on a chosen career and in bringing years of faithful preparation into right fruition.

On completion of my academic study in a midwestern college, I decided to pursue a course of graduate study in the field of law and to become a member of that profession in my home state. However, my draft board classification at that time made it very unlikely that uninterrupted graduate study could be engaged in until after serving a tour of duty with the Armed Forces.
