We cannot think of anything existing without substance, and the Bible assures us that God's substance is love. ... We discover that love is God's will in action. ... Probably when we get down to the bottom of the matter, there is nothing in the universe but love, for God is love and God is the of the universe. ...
Love is everything in the life of God, and if our lives are to please Him it must be everything in our lives. We are to hate sin and evil but we are never under any circumstances to hate people. ...
