"The Truth-cure"
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Connie was a preschooler, and shortly after she started to attend the Christian Science Sunday School, she was given a beautiful present. It was a small red clothbound copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
There had been some discussion whether or Connie was old enough to take care of such a nice book. However, her older brother and sister were going to receive a like gift; so Connie was also to have her very own book. How she loved her "Science and Help," as she called it! Often she fell asleep with it in her hands.
On one occasion, when she had been having an earache, she climbed up into a convenient lap. After curling up in loving arms, she asked the lap-owner to read this book to her. In a few minutes, she got down, saying "I'm all better now," and she was.
