THE PATH OF LIGHT

Florence R. Wiggins

"Grief's path
is yours." Defeat
thus tempted me to walk
the vale of loneliness, despair
and fear.

"Not so!"
Truth counseled me,
"Take not one step down grief's
abyss. The high, free path of light
is yours."

"I am
the way, the truth,
and the life," the Master said.
I walked with Christ the lighted path,
comforted.
