For years before I knew of Christian Science I was troubled with acute anemia. The doctor declared that I had only a few years to live, despite his efforts to restore my health by injecting drugs into the system. He even advised me to cease working most of the week. At this time I was extremely doubtful if anything could be done to restore my health. I strove to live a Christian life and also attended an orthodox church.

Not believing in the doctor's pronouncement concerning my complaint, my wife, who had had healings in Christian Science, advised me to avail myself of the services of a Christian Science practitioner. She assured me in no uncertain manner that I would get help.

I acted upon this advice; and the practitioner spoke to me at length of the real man in God's image and likeness, declaring that that which was binding me to a false claim of sickness was a lie and powerless because in Science man as created by God is not physical but spiritual. After this interview I felt uplifted, joyous, and free and have never had a return of the sickness.
