Christian Science has blessed my experience all my life. Heartfelt gratitude for all the avenues of good that Science has opened up in my experience prompts me to write this testimony.

Professionally, I am in the oil and gas business, engaged in the finding, drilling, and developing of oil and gas fields. This work requires the expenditures of large sums of money, and it is necessary to take investors into my various drilling projects from time to time.

Several years ago I was elected to the office of First Reader in a branch church. A short time after my election one of my oil investors became disgruntled over a project that had failed. This investor wanted his money back, even though contracts had been signed and other investors in the same project were not unhappy about the loss we had all had to sustain.
