I am indeed grateful for the loving...
I am indeed grateful for the loving care God has given my family over the past years. The knowledge of God's ever-presence and His love for His children is a comfort which mortal mind can mimic but never replace or take away.
Returning from work one afternoon, I drove down the street to our home. A crowd was gathered in the street, a car was parked in the center of the street, and as I approached I saw my wife holding and comforting our eldest boy. It was apparent that the car had struck the child.
God's thoughts, angel messages, began to flood my thinking thus: "There are no accidents in God's ever-present, harmonious kingdom; I cannot see anything but God's perfect child; the thoughts of the crowd can in no way affect the truth that the child is an individual, perfect, spiritual idea of God, untouched by material belief." As I parked the car a determination came over me to know God only and remove the false belief of accident from my thinking.
