As the youngest of six children . . .
[Original in German]
As the youngest of six children, I was alone a great deal and left to my own thoughts, and I arrived, through my own experience and logic, at conclusions which found their confirmation for the first time in Christian Science.
For me, Christian Science was a long-sought truth and revelation; through it I could suddenly believe, something that had not been possible for me previously, despite all my endeavors in an orthodox church. After studying Christian Science for six months, I realized that even I might be healed, although I had already been dismissed by doctors as incurable.
