What Needs to Be Healed?
"As we spiritualize consciousness, we awaken proportionately to a sense of well-being"
The human mind alone needs to be healed. The material body is merely the externalized thought of this mind and images forth its impressions, whether they are good or bad. Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (p. 400), "When we remove disease by addressing the disturbed mind, giving no heed to the body, we prove that thought alone creates the suffering." When disease is evident, the mortal, or carnal, mind is always the culprit. It is expressing itself through the material body, which is devoid of intelligence and life.
