My gratitude for the privilege...
My gratitude for the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School from an early age and for the dedicated teachers there who planted in my thought the truths of God and man's relationship to Him grows each day, for the harvest is continual.
When I realized that I had only about two years more to attend Sunday School, I developed an earnest desire to be there each Sunday morning. The understanding gained thereby enabled me to be divinely guided to a position with a company immediately after graduation from high school and later to be led to accept a promotion I did not want.
I was doing interesting and challenging work, and the promotion offered only a routine job. When asked to accept the promotion, I asked for a short while to think about it. I promised to give my decision after the break period. I called my mother and asked what to do. She said important thing was to examine my motives. Right motives bring right decisions.
