Self-realization at College

There is perhaps no time in the life of a human being when greater strides are made toward finding oneself than at college. For many, it is a period of questioning, of testing, of experimenting, of forming new viewpoints, of drawing new conclusions, and of feeling for the first time the privilege of saying, "This is where I stand."

It is also a period of many influences, many pressures, demanding often that the stand taken by the individual be something other than his own. Christian Science encourages each individual to gain his own outlook on life, to form his own patterns of behavior, and to draw his own conclusions.

No one who has practiced and demonstrated Christian Science for himself doubts that this Science can stand the test of honest questioning and investigation. It is a practical, provable Science. But for the college student it is more. It is the champion of his right and ability to think for himself and to defend himself from all that would deprive him of that right and ability.
