Beauty, joy, and gratitude are qualities which enrich human experience and are impartially bestowed by divine Love on all God's children. Isaiah realized that the Christ would bless all men and would "give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness" (61:3).
