As I was about my housework...
As I was about my housework one day, my breast was accidentally hit with considerable force. I instantly declared that there are no accidents in divine Mind and that God's child, His spiritual expression, cannot be harmed. I called a practitioner, because there was quite a bit of fear since the pain increased.
I studied and prayed diligently, almost constantly, but later, after I had received my healing, I realized that at first I had worked not to gain spiritual understanding but solely to overcome and destroy a condition that I was accepting as real.
It was weeks before I awoke to the truth that all that was being manifested was fear and false belief and that I was arguing with error as though it were a reality. As I gained more understanding of my true selfhood as God's child. His spiritual idea, I realized there was no substance in matter, that substance is spiritual and therefore cannot be injured. Man as God's reflection, is always manifesting only Godlike qualities; and by not giving heed to mortal mind or to aggressive suggestions, one can rise above the false evidence of the material senses into the consciousness of perfect God and perfect man.
