Church Dedications

Redlands, California (First Church).

Dedication services will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. in First Church of Christ, Scientist, Fourth and Vine streets, and also at 3 p.m. All Christian Science churches throughout the world can only dedicate when completely free of debt. This church is a branch of The Mother Church in Boston, Mass.

In the early 1900's services were first held in Redlands and by 1905 a church organization was formed. A church building was purchased at the present location and was removed in 1953. The present new church was completed on May 11, 1955.—Redlands Daily Facts (September 29, 1962).
