Teaching Through Obedience
"Good teaching is the outgrowth of a great love of Christian Science and humanity"
In "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" by Mrs. Eddy we read (p. 230), "It is a joy to know that they who are faithful over the foundational trusts, such as the Christian education of the dear children, will reap the reward of rightness, rise in the scale of being, and realize at last their Master's promise, 'And they shall be all taught of God.'" And so we see that teaching in a Christian Science Sunday School is a foundational trust, and as such is not to be regarded lightly. To teach merely because it is a duty is to miss a great blessing, for this is not obedience and so misses the reward of obedience.
