It is with great humility that I thank God for the many blessings I have received through the application of Christian Science. One particular healing I should like to tell about.

About two years ago I felt severe pain in my stomach and chest. I immediately declared the truth that there is no pain because God, divine Love, fills all space, and many other truths I had learned in studying Christian Science for over seventeen years. I then collapsed and to all indications was gravely ill. But God is Life, and man is God's reflection; and God's power healed this condition.

My wife and I were not at home when this happened, but my wife was able right away to ask a practitioner to begin helping me through prayer. I was assisted to my car, and my wife drove me home. She then helped me to bed, and I slept for about two hours. Then I arose, ate a small amount of food, and lay on the couch in the living room while my wife read to me from Science and Health and from "Miscellaneous Writings," both by Mrs. Eddy. This same afternoon a neighbor dropped in to ask me to sign some papers for him, which I was able to do without his knowing anything had been amiss.
