"He ... went his way"
"We can go our way, the way of Love ... conscious always of the power of Love, which conquers error"
In the fourth chapter of Luke is related a remarkable instance of divine protection from malice. Jesus, having returned to his home in Nazareth, had gone into the synagogue where he read from the Book of Isaiah. He chose Isaiah's beautiful prophecy of healing and deliverance. After he had closed the book, he announced the beginning of his own ministry of healing and identified himself with this Scriptural prophecy. His words were well received, for the account reads (verse 22), "All bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth."
