Having had many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science, I should like to express my gratitude to God for Mrs. Eddy, who revealed this practical religion, and to tell of some of the ways in which it has helped me.

For a long time I had a sense of resentment, but with the patient assistance of a Christian Science practitioner it disappeared from my thinking. There have been healings of boils, warts, injuries sustained in falls, and of many other difficulties. I have a great sense of gratitude for the healing of an infected finger, because not only was the finger healed, but warts on it were healed too, although I had not mentioned them to the practitioner who was helping me.

Some years ago I was healed of a painful physical condition through the application of the truths of Christian Science. Because those around me urged the calling of a doctor, I did consult one. He pronounced the difficulty a fistula and advised an immediate operation. I was quite fearful, and decided to submit to it. However, as I was preparing to go to the hospital, the uplifting thoughts came to me that God is Love, that He is everywhere, and since that is true, there is nowhere for pain to exist.
