"Go ye into all the world"

"We should, not shrink from proffering timely aid to those who are afflicted"

It is recorded in the Gospel of Luke that Jesus gave power and authority to heal disease not only to the twelve apostles but also to seventy other disciples whom he commissioned. Moreover, he extended this power and authority to all men in all ages by declaring, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also" (John 14:12).
