Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Round Lake, Illinois (First Church).

The members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Round Lake, Illinois, will hold dedicatory services at 11 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. on Sunday, April 24.

The first steps leading up to this day were taken in August, 1955, when a few students of Christian Science realized the need for church services in this area and held their first service in a private home. They later voted to have regular Sunday services.
