Evangelizing the Human Self
"Evangelization is essentially a striving for the freedom which characterizes the sons of God"
For the Christian Scientist, evangelization is a vital part of his religious experience. Rather than an event, it is a process—quiet, gentle, sacred, yet irresistible and continuous. It can be said to be the progressive exchanging of material beliefs for the consciousness of the spiritual facts of being in order that man's nature as the child of God may be expressed. This results in true self government through obedience to the laws of God. Evangelization is individual.
