Through the study of Christian Science I have had many healings. When I was a boy, I was protected after I had been struck by a car which passed completely over me. No aftereffects resulted, and I was back in school the next day. Freedom from colds and instantaneous healings of headaches have also been experienced. Our family has been protected, guided, and blessed in every instance in which we have relied on God.

Several years ago a stiffness in my back made it painful and slow to straighten myself in rising from a sitting position. I started earnest prayerful work for myself and then enlisted the help of a Christian Science practitioner. Great spiritual progress resulted from the work of the practitioner, and then I continued to do my own work again.

At this point two wonderful thoughts unfolded. A Christian Science lecture which I had attended brought out the thought of manifesting God's qualities every moment. An article entitled "Right When—Right Then" in the Sentinel also proved helpful. I began to identify myself as a perfect child of God and to guard against every erroneous thought that tried to enter my consciousness. Right when there appeared to be pain, right then I reaffirmed my oneness with God's perfection.
