Although two of my friends in school had been Christian Scientists, I had wanted no part of what I believed it to be. It was several years later when I was married and had two children that my religious beliefs began to seem inadequate to meet my needs. Our human experiences were becoming more and more discordant, and doctors' bills were taking about all our already insufficient supply of money.

About this time another friend offered me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The soil must have been ready for the planting of these beautiful seeds of Truth, for after reading the very first sentence in the Preface, I could hardly put the book down. I began to discuss it with my husband, and he too received much inspiration.

I shall never forget our joy in finding that God is Love, on whom we can lean, right here, right now, and to whom we can go with any problem; and best of all, to learn of man who is made in God's image and likeness.
