On Sunday, September 14, at 3.30 p.m., Christian Science Society, Guelph, Ontario, dedicated its edifice in a special service. ... Its members and attendants come from towns and villages within a twenty-mile radius.

Late in 1940 a group of Christian Scientists began holding Sunday services in a local residence. A move was made to the YMCA auditorium in February, 1941, and a smaller room in the same building was rented for a Sunday School. Four years later, the group was officially recognized by The Mother Church as Christian Science Society, Guelph. A Reading Room ... was established in 1948. ...
