A few years ago I allowed myself...
A few years ago I allowed myself to become worried and fearful over problems I was not able to overcome. I became ill with a skin rash. For a few days I did nothing about it, and it got worse. I then realized I must do something.
I was away from home at the time; so I had to make a long distance telephone call to a Christian Science practitioner. I told her of my trouble, and she took up work immediately for me. I felt much better after I had talked with her, but the rash showed no sign of improvement for more than a week. However, I was able to keep on with my usual duties.
I used no medicine; but because it was of a weeping nature, I kept a covering of clean linen over the rash. I held steadfastly to the truths that the practitioner imparted. As I gained in the spiritual understanding of man's perfect relationship to God as His reflection and as my fears lessened, the rash gradually disappeared, leaving no trace or marks whatever. I was completely healed.
